夏日裡暈眩的小鴨 The Dizzy Duck in Summer
一隻白絨絨的小鴨
A fluffy little duck
游來游去
swimming back and forth
遇見兩隻烏龜嘰嘰喳喳地聊著
meets two turtles chattering noisily
小鴨：你們在聊什麼呢？
Duck: “What are you two talking about?”
烏龜們：（完全無視）
Turtles: (completely ignoring)
小鴨只好繼續游啊游
The duck keeps on swimming
忽然看見一顆被人丟棄的棒球
and suddenly sees a discarded baseball
小鴨嘆氣：哎呀，可惜了
Duck sighs: “Ah, what a pity.
要是我有手套，一定可以接住的吧
If only I had a glove, I could have caught it.”
一陣強風吹起
A gust of strong wind rises
吹呀吹呀
blows and blows
世界慢慢靜了下來，時間，呼吸止住，一種喘不過氣的寂靜。
the world slowly grows still, time and breath held, a suffocating silence
小鴨：咦，我變成人類了嗎？
Duck: “Huh? Have I turned into a human?”
踏入林間
It steps into the woods
抬頭望著樹蔭間灑落的光影，微微穿梭

小鴨感嘆：原來這就是人類的視角啊

還不習慣這副身份

小鴨一陣頭暈

只傻傻低語：

我……這是在天堂嗎？
“Am I… in heaven?”
有一絲淡淡的黃光
A faint yellow glow
嗯？這麼熟悉
Hmm? So familiar
似乎有個弱小的黑色身影，是……？
There seems to be a small dark figure, was it…?
突然被人搖醒
Suddenly someone shakes it awake
「同學，你還好嗎？」
“Hey, are you okay?”
啊……我還是人類啊
Ah… I’m still human
嘴巴想說什麼
the mouth wants to speak
卻只微微點了點頭
but only nods slightly
小鴨望向遠方
The duck looks into the distance
那是夥伴們，還是鵝兄們？
are those its companions, or the geese brothers?
頭有點發熱
Its head feels warm
眼皮愈來愈沉重
its eyelids grow heavier and heavier
天氣悶得……
the air is stifling…
當人類，真的有點緊張啊
Being human really does feel a bit nerve-wracking
